The Municipality of Karpathos commissioned the Laboratory of Innovative Tourism Entrepreneurship and Human Resources Development (iTED Lab) of the Department of Tourism Economics and Management of the University of the Aegean, to carry out a research project entitled "Conducting a survey on the profile and travel behaviour of visitors - tourists and the future tourism prospects and directions of Karpathos". Through this research project, a quantitative survey will be carried out to determine the profile and travel behaviour of tourists - visitors of Karpathos and a qualitative survey of key stakeholders of the island to determine the future tourism prospects and directions of the island.
