The research project Sustainability skills for HORECA (Aim2Sustain) had as its main objective the development of sustainability related knowledge in the field of tourism vocational education and training. By developing and strengthening the sustainability skills of employees in hotels, restaurants and other catering establishments (HORECA sector) an overall sustainability strategy is pursued. During the implementation of the project a) the guidelines for sustainability as a competence in the HORECA sector were designed and b) an online learning - education site for sustainability related topics in the HORECA sector was created. The project partnership included 7 European partners from the tourism sector.
