Bridging Sustainable Tourism and Agrofood: An Innovative Approach - BRIDGE
The BRIDGE research project aims at the functional interaction of Sustainable Tourism and Agri-food, through the creation of an electronic platform with all the certified, innovative, award-winning products and services of the sectors that will act as a mechanism for the systematic interconnection of producers and consumers.
The results of the BRIDGE project:
- Construction of an interactive electronic platform (market place) that will combine lists of certified products and services of Sustainable Tourism and Agri-Food,
- Compilation of an algorithm to link Sustainable Tourism and Agri-food,
- Dissemination and promotion actions and activities of the platform as a tool for the innovation and the Sustainable Circular Economy.
The project is funded from the resources of the Recovery and Resilience Fund under the Action "Support to Basic and Applied Research" and the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation – ELIDEK is the implementing organisation. The responsible scientific institution for the implementation of the project is the Harokopio University and researchers from the University of West Attica, the University of the Aegean and the iTED Lab are participating.
