Conducting a survey to assess the profile and travel behaviour of visitors - tourists of Chios. Study funded by the Municipality of Chios.
The Laboratory of Innovative Tourism Entrepreneurship and Human Resources Development (iTED Lab) of the Department of Tourism Economics and Management of the University of the Aegean implemented, on behalf of the Municipality of Chios, a 12-month survey of the profile and travel behavior of visitors - tourists of Chios.
The survey was carried out using an on-line questionnaire in three languages, Greek, English and Turkish, with the aim of providing an analytical and documented record of data that can be used by the Municipality of Chios in its efforts to improve the planning of activities and the creation of new ones, in order to promote tourism on the island.
